1,000-mu of cherry trees enter flowering period

Cherry trees covering about 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares) in Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province recently started blooming.
The cherry trees are located in Bailu village, Luting township, Yuyao, a county-level city of Ningbo.
Situated in the eastern part of Siming Mountain, Luting township is renowned for its fresh air and unspoiled natural views. Tourism has become an engine driving rural vitalization in the township.
The township, which comprises 12 villages, has a forest coverage ratio of 85 percent. The Xiaolu River goes through the township and flows into the Jiaokou reservoir, which is a significant water source for Ningbo.
