Despite the scorching summer temperatures, residents living near the sea in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province have been flocking to the beach to forage for wild seafood.
In Hugang village in the coastal county of Xiangshan in the city, villagers have been busy gathering small sea creatures when the tides recede.
Li Weifei, a villager who has more than 40 years of experience in foraging coastal waters, said that he can at times make hundreds of yuan from selling the crabs he finds on the shore.
