Ningbo's industrial output nears 1.2t yuan in H1

The added value of above-designated-size industrial enterprises－those with annual business revenues of 20 million yuan ($2.97 million) and above－in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province hit 268.42 billion yuan in the first half of this year, rising 5 percent year-on-year, according to official data.

The growth rate was the same as that in the fourth quarter last year and 1.6 percentage points higher than national average for the six-month period.

Over the same period, the output value of industrial enterprises above designated size in the city expanded 12.8 percent to about 1.2 trillion yuan. This was the second time the figure exceeded 1 trillion yuan in the first half of the year, with the first time being in 2021.
