Longgu village in Ningbo, Zhejiang province has embraced renewable energy, with solar photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs of new buildings.

The houses have been delivered to villagers, and each household will enjoy 50 kilowatt-hours of electricity for free every month.

Due to the photovoltaic-panel-installed roofs, temperatures in the houses are 3 to 5 degrees cooler than normal in summer, helping residents to lead a more comfortable and green lifestyle.
