The 26th Ningbo International Fashion Festival commenced in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 11.

Established 26 years ago, the event is the largest, longest running, and most comprehensive fashion festival in China. It was previously named among China's top 10 festivals with the most international influence.

This year's festival features more than 20 activities, including smart forums and industrial exhibitions.

The exhibition segment of this year's festival has five exhibition areas that span a combined 40,000 square meters. In attendance are 178 enterprises and 228 brands.

Twenty-one new product launches and several high-level industry chain, supply chain and brand chain matchmaking meetings will be held during the festival to promote the development of Ningbo's fashion industry.

The 2022 Three Qualities National Summit was also held in Ningbo on the first day of the festival. The event displays the achievements made in terms of improving the quality of consumer goods.

The "three qualities" refer to the following: increasing varieties, improving quality and creating brands.

Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Huzhou and another four Chinese cities will also be holding exhibitions about fashion-related topics during the festival period.
