Students from around the world are returning to the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) in Ningbo, Zhejiang province for a new semester.
According to the college's Global Engagement Office, since the rollout of China’s optimized COVID-19 control measures, about 180 international students from 40 countries and regions have returned. And nearly 30 students from countries such as Indonesia and South Korea are returning in February.
Unlike previous years, parents are now allowed to enter the college after registration. A freshman surnamed Chen from Shenzhen in Guangdong province returned to UNNC with his family.
"It's my first time visiting UNNC after his admission. It's beautiful and has a cosmopolitan atmosphere," said Chen's mother.
During the past exam week, student support teams provided students with various services, such as offering cervical pillows and setting up a snack station.
