268 major investment expansion projects in Zhejiang to begin

The simultaneous commencement of major projects aimed at expanding effective investment in East China's Zhejiang province was held in Hangzhou on Feb 21.

A total of 268 projects with a total investment of 680.8 billion yuan ($98.73 billion) were featured at the centralized commencement ceremony.

Among them are 10 projects with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan. There are 63 projects in mountainous island counties with a total investment of 131.3 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 30.9 billion yuan.

Zhejiang has issued 20 policies to expand effective investment in 2022. These policies involve increasing the growth rate of fixed asset investment in the province to 9.1 percent and boosting total investments to 3 trillion yuan.
