Location: Haishu district is a core urban area of Ningbo. It is only eight kilometers from the Ningbo Lishe International Airport. 

GDP: 150.13 billion yuan (2022)

Permanent residents: 630,000 (2018)

Area: 595.5 square kilometers

Administrative divisions:

Haishu governs nine sub-districts, seven towns and one township -- Jishigang town, Gulin town, Hengjie town, Yinjiang town, Dongqiao town, and Zhangshui town; Shiqi sub-district, Yuehu sub-district, Ximen sub-district, Jiangxia sub-district, Nanmen sub-district, Gulou sub-district, Baiyun sub-sub-district, Wangchun sub-district, and Duantang sub-district; Longguan township.


In 2018, Haishu ranked among the top 100 districts in China in terms of comprehensive economic strength. That same year, it won the Euro-China Green and Smart City Award.
