Two districts – Jiangbei and Yinzhou – administered by Ningbo recently made the list of top 10 county-level areas in Zhejiang in terms of business climate, according to a report.

Released by the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the report was based on a survey that polled over 16,000 private companies from 25 sectors in Zhejiang.

Survey respondents were asked to evaluate the business climate of places from the perspectives of administrative services, market, rule of law and innovation.

The other eight places included in the top 10 list are Shangcheng district, Binjiang district, Xiaoshan district, the county-level city of Ruian, Wuxing district, the county-level city of Haining, Yuecheng district and the county-level city of Yiwu.

In recent years, Ningbo has made concerted efforts to improve the ease of doing business in the city by streamlining administrative service procedures. For example, all procedures related to business registration can now be performed online.
