A flight from Singapore arrived in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on April 1, marking the resumption of round-trip flights between Ningbo in Zhejiang province and Singapore after a three-year pause.

Flight TR177 arrived at the Ningbo Lishe International Airport at 5:10 pm and left for Singapore an hour later. The round-trip flights are operated by Scoot, Singapore Airlines' low-cost offshoot. The flights are available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

According to the market department of the Ningbo airport, the minimum price of direct flights from Ningbo to Singapore will be less than 1,000 yuan ($145), while the lowest price for round-trip flights will be slightly over 2,000 yuan.

"The resumption of flights to and from Singapore will benefit the residents of Ningbo and help further boost trade cooperation and cultural communication between the city and Southeast Asia," said a manager of the Ningbo airport, "The airport now offers 31 direct international flights per week. We are looking to quickly add more flights according to market demand. Direct flights to Nha Trang in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia are expected to be launched."
