Fashion show revitalizes Neolithic culture

A fashion show featuring the Hemudu Neolithic culture was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on June 12, displaying the combination of modern fashion and ancient culture.
The Hemudu Archaeological Site was unearthed in Yuyao, a county-level city in Ningbo in 1973. The relics found at the site, including rice seeds and delicate wooden oars, reveals the flourishing Neolithic culture dating back 7,000 years ago.
Inspired by the its paddy cultivation, hunting, weaving, and totem elements, the local clothing brand "Choice Yin" hosted a fashion show, entitled "Discover Hemudu", at the ancient Hemudu ferry on June 12.
The fashion pageant, which was divided into four themes, attracted over 70 fashion celebrities.
