A total of 708 volunteers were officially sent off to provide services at the Ningbo venue of the 19th Asian Games at a ceremony held on Sept 6.

The volunteers, all hailing from universities in Ningbo, will play a crucial role in various tasks during the Games. Their duties will include assisting with competition operations, offering language translation services, and providing support to both athletes and spectators. Their efforts will help ensure that the Games go smoothly, creating a warm and orderly environment for participants and audiences alike.

The Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Center and Xiangshan Asian Games Sailing Center, both located in Ningbo's Xiangshan county, will host the beach volleyball and sailing competitions during the Games.
