Ningbo in Zhejiang province, host of the sailing and beach volleyball events of the Hangzhou Asian Games, lit up buildings across the city to celebrate the Games on Sept 11.

The light show includes three parts with different themes: Asian Games and Olympic champions from Ningbo, beach volleyball and sailing events and venues, and Ningbo's development as a coastal city.

The show features naked eye 3D displays on 75 buildings in the city's 10 districts, counties and county-level cities. This is the first time that Ningbo has hosted a light show across the city. It will last for 17 days, welcoming athletes and other visitors.
