China Industrial Internet Contest opens in Ningbo

The Fifth China Industrial Internet Contest kicked off in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on Sept 13.
As one of the most authoritative industrial internet competitions in China, the contest serves as a platform for high-level technological communication and practice and promotes the digital transformation of manufacturing industry.
Since it was launched in 2019, more than 20,000 people have participated in the contest.
This year's contest includes five catogories: quality improvement, services, distributed control systems, industrial chains, and low-carbon technology.
Participants are divided into two groups – leading teams and up-and-coming teams. After a preliminary selection by experts, regional competitions will be held in Beijing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Wuxi, and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Winners will attend the finals scheduled to be held in Ningbo at the end of this year.
As the contest’s host city, Ningbo has been developing itself into a pioneer in industrial internet by developing its digital economy. The city intends to leverage the contest to draw in advanced projects, which will further stimulate the high-quality development of its manufacturing industry.
