Asian Games' sailing event kicks off in Ningbo

The 19th Asian Games' sailing competition, the sole maritime event of the continental sports extravaganza, commenced on Sept 21 in the coastal county of Xiangshan in Ningbo.

The event encompasses a total of 14 sub-competitions, with four kicking off at 11:00 am at the Xiangshan Asian Sailing Center.

A total of 129 athletes from 17 countries and regions have gathered to compete in the sailing event, taking place from Sept 21 to 27. They will be vying for a total of 14 gold medals.
