2 Chinese pairs break into WTA Ningbo Open semifinals

Two Chinese pairs have made it to the semifinals of the WTA Ningbo Open after winning their doubles quarterfinal matches.
In a surprising upset, Guo Hanyu and Jiang Xinyu defeated the tournament's second-seeded players, Anna Danilina and Alexandra Panova, on Sept 27, to secure their spot in the next round.
Guo Hanyu and Jiang Xinyu have been on a winning streak, recently earning a silver medal at the Chengdu Universiade and winning the Guiyang Open doubles competition.
Despite being ranked lower than their opponents, the Chinese duo displayed skill and determination, ultimately winning with a score of 5-7, 6-0, 10-6.
Another Chinese pair, Feng Shuo and Zheng Wushuang, also advanced to the semifinals with a solid victory of 6-4, 6-2.
