Zhejiang Book Fair to open in Ningbo

The eighth Zhejiang Book Fair is scheduled to take place in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province from Nov 3 to 5, according to an announcement by the organizers at a press conference on Oct 26.
The fair will be held at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center, which serves as the main venue, covering an exhibition area of approximately 18,000 square meters. Over 360 publishers from across the country will be participating in the event, bringing forth over 30,000 types of publications.
The event will be attended by over 50 renowned writers and cultural figures from Zhejiang and beyond, including Liang Xiaosheng, Feng Jicai, Pu Cunxin, and Yang Lan.
Attendees can look forward to experiencing over 600 reading promotion activities, including new book releases, lectures, and forums, which will be organized alongside the main event.
Since its establishment in 2015, the Zhejiang Book Fair has grown to become a significant cultural event in China. In 2020, Ningbo was chosen as the permanent host city for the fair.
