Yongjiang Laboratory, a pivotal scientific and technological innovation hub in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, has achieved a significant milestone as the first phase of its development has passed its final acceptance inspection nearly five months ahead of schedule.
Encompassing an expansive area of over 600 mu (40 hectares), the facility is divided into two main phases. The initial phase includes research centers, a platform for the preparation of information materials and micro-nano devices, as well as an incubator. Currently, the phase is undergoing the final stages of meticulous decoration and is poised to commence operations in the first half of this year.
The information materials and micro-nano device preparation platform, designed for cutting-edge technology development and advanced technology verification, is expected to be operational from June onwards.
In 2023, Yongjiang Laboratory expanded its team by welcoming 116 new research personnel, bringing its total staff count to 430.
