Intl guests delight in traditional tofu banquet

The ancient town of Qiantong, located in Ningbo's Ninghai county, came alive with excitement when a unique wedding celebration took place there on March 23.

The event welcomed guests, including more than 20 from the United States and France, who were treated to a traditional tofu banquet by the newlywed couple.

At the centerpiece of the ancient street, a 100-meter-long table, adorned with rich indigo tablecloths, showcased an array of delectable tofu-based dishes.

Among the offerings, freshly fried hollow tofu, seasoned with a blend of salt and pepper, made for a fragrant and crispy delight, while the savory dried tofu had a smooth and chewy texture.

With 300 seats filled, the atmosphere buzzed with animated conversations as guests reveled in the exquisite tofu delicacies.

"The tofu banquet is absolutely incredible! We've never experienced such a diverse array of tofu dishes. It's delicious, and the ancient town is simply stunning!" exclaimed one of the international attendees, captivated by the experience.
