From Sanjiangkou, a historical port where three rivers meet and flocks of merchant ships sail through, the 36-kilometer-long, ocean-crossing Hangzhou Bay Bridge to the blooming Cherry Blossom Valley in Xikou county …, the natural scenery and manual projects that adorn the skyline of Ningbo, Zhejiang province, is given a vivid depiction at a photo exhibition now held in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia.
Ningbo in Light and Shadow shows over 90 snapshots, until May 29, that capture the past and present, old and new of this beautiful, coastal city, boasting rich resources and flourishing industries and commerce.
It is to strengthen the business and cultural connections between the two cities — there are a considerable presence of entrepreneurs hailing from Ningbo in Phnom Penh, and also the exchanges between the two countries.
