Ningbo athlete Cao Yunzhu, alongside her teammate Zhang Xinxin, secured victory in the women's synchronized event at the Trampoline World Cup held in Portugal on July 8.
This triumph marks Cao's third world championship title this year, solidifying her reputation as a formidable force in the world of trampoline gymnastics.
Cao's exceptional performance throughout the Trampoline World Cup series this year has been nothing short of remarkable. On March 25, at the World Cup event in Kottbus, Germany, Cao and her partner Zhang dazzled the audience with their flawless routine, earning a score of 48.88 points and claiming the gold medal in the women's synchronized event.
The duo continued their winning streak on June 30 at the World Cup event in Switzerland, where they again emerged victorious in the women's synchronized event again. Additionally, in the individual women's event, Cao showcased her prowess by securing the runner-up position with a score of 56.17 points.
Born in 2003, Cao began her trampoline journey at the Zhenhai District Amateur Trampoline Skills School in September 2014. She joined the Zhejiang Provincial Trampoline Team for training in September 2015 and was eventually selected to join the national team in February 2018.
