Ningbo athletes pocket 5 medals at Paris Olympics

Athletes from Ningbo, Zhejiang province, have collectively secured 1 silver and 4 bronze medals at the Paris Olympics, which concluded this morning, matching the city's medal count from the previous Games.

Swimmer Yu Yiting clinched two bronze medals in the women's 4x100m medley relay and the women's 4x100m freestyle relay events at the Games.

The remaining two bronzes were claimed by Kong Yaqi in the women's 4x200m freestyle relay event and Wang Shun in the men's 200m individual medley event, further highlighting Ningbo's dominance in aquatic sports.

Adding to the city's glory, badminton player Wang Chang, along with his partner Liang Weikeng, secured a silver medal in the men's doubles event.
