Italian guitarist fuses cultures in music documentary

The film captures the moment when 24-year-old Italian classical guitarist Cristina Galietto, inspired by Marco Polo's legacy, visits Ningbo in East China’s Zhejiang province to fulfill her dream of cultural exchange through music.

In this visually stunning piece, blending live footage with innovative AI techniques, Galietto performs a reimagined version of the classic song O Sole Mio alongside her Chinese counterpart. Their harmonious melodies transcend borders, symbolizing the shared aspirations for peace and the preservation of cultural heritage.

As she traverses China, her journey echoes the historic Maritime Silk Road, reinforcing the enduring ties between East and West.
