Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Battista Belleri says that he's committed to showcasing to a global audience the many strengths of Ningbo city – in East China's Zhejiang province – highlighting its robust manufacturing industry and deep cultural heritage.
Belleri, deputy general manager of Ningbo Mascube Group and co-founder of the Karcher Center (Ningbo), has built a lasting connection with the city. That's since his arrival in the city's Beilun district in 2003 as a representative of the Karcher Group, a giant German cleaning equipment manufacturer.
He frequently travels across Europe – including Germany, Romania, Hungary and Poland – promoting Chinese manufacturing and sharing Ningbo's story with international partners.
One of the key local strategic advantages that Belleri emphasizes is Ningbo Zhoushan Port – one of the world's busiest ports, which plays a crucial role in supporting foreign trading enterprises.
His company exports products worldwide, but his approach to business extends beyond selling equipment – he provides clients with tailored cleaning solutions and strategic marketing guidance, ensuring mutually beneficial results.
Believing in the precept of "unity of knowledge and action" – from Wang Yangming, an ancient Chinese philosopher born in Ningbo – Belleri integrates the concept into both his professional and personal life.
He actively engages with his products, personally testing cleaning vehicles to ensure their quality and functionality.
With an order conversion rate nearing 50 percent, Belleri plans to further tap into Ningbo's strong foreign trade environment to expand further into global markets. Confident in both the excellence of Ningbo's products and its cultural richness, he's optimistic that more international clients will recognize and appreciate what the city has to offer.
