Ningbo's Skycorp Solar makes historic debut on Nasdaq
Ningbo Skycorp Solar Co Ltd, headquartered in the Ningbo Hi-Tech Zone, was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the ticker symbol PN.US on March 4.
This event marks a historic moment as the company becomes the first from China's new energy wiring harness industry to achieve an overseas listing and also represents Ningbo's first Nasdaq listing this year.
Established in 2011, Skycorp Solar has focused on the research and development of photovoltaic (PV) cables and connectors. With 47 core patents and certifications such as the European TUV certification for PV cables, the company has earned a place in global high-end market. Its products, including wiring harnesses, energy storage systems, and high-performance computing servers, are widely applied in solar power plants, data centers, and residential or commercial energy storage systems.
Skycorp Solar has manufacturing facilities in Nanjing, Ningbo, and Shaoxing, and holds over 15 percent market share in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region for direct current solar cables and connectors. Internationally, its sales network spans over 60 countries and regions. The company's decision to pursue an IPO in the United States supports its global ambitions.
Skycorp Solar's success reflects not only its achievements but also Ningbo's commitment to fostering a world-class business environment, fueling both economic growth and innovation.
