Intl stationery expo opens in Ningbo
The 19th China International Stationery and Gifts Exposition (CNISE) opened at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center on July 13, according to local media reports.
A total of 1,578 exhibitors from 15 provinces and municipalities across the nation, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Shanghai, are attending the expo. On show are more than 100,000 products ranging from stationery to office supplies to stationery production and processing equipment.
About 30,000 people are expected to visit the expo, according to the organizer.
The fair, which offers a platform to boost exchanges and cooperation among stationery enterprises, will boost the recovery of the stationery industry in China following outbreaks of the COVID-19 epidemic in the past few months, said Zhou Huajie, general manager of Ningbo Zhongbo International Exhibition Co Ltd, the expo's organizer.
Meanwhile, Ant Street, a digital version of the stationery expo, was launched during the opening ceremony. The online platform will serve as an extension of the offline event and bring more convenience for enterprises from home and abroad.
As a stationery manufacturing hub in China, Ningbo is represented by several of its influential stationery brands at the event.
Among them is Beifa Group, a local stationery company renowned for its ballpoint pens, which has debuted some of its latest products at the expo.
