2 Ningbo places earn provincial honor for common prosperity

Two areas from Ningbo were recently listed as provincial models for rural common prosperity in Zhejiang, bringing the total number of such places in the city to five, local media reported.

One of the areas is the Siming belt, which passes through three towns – Liangnong, Dalan and Simingshan – in Yuyao, a county-level city in Ningbo.

The 35-kilometer belt, which starts from Siming Lake and ends at Beixi village, has in recent years made strides in pursuing common prosperity by developing Red tourism around Siming Mountain, Siming Lake as well as its status as an old revolutionary base.

The other area is the Huangle Taoma belt situated in Fenghua district. This 21-km belt passes through Jinping and Xiaowangmiao sub-districts, and is home to many scenic spots including Xiaowang Temple and Tengtou.

The Huangle Taoma belt has been recognized mainly because of its excellent coordination in the development of primary, second and tertiary industries.
