The ongoing 2023 National Beach Volleyball Grand Slam Tournament, which has attracted athletes, technical officials, and reporters from around the country, has brought crowds of visitors to Xiangshan county in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.

The 2023 National Beach Volleyball Grand Slam Tournament (Ningbo Xiangshan Station), a trial event for the 19th Asian Games, is being held at the Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Center, a venue for the upcoming Asian Games, from April 23 to 27.

During the competition, a bazaar featuring local products was launched in the Banbianshan Scenic Area on April 22 and has become popular among visitors.

More than 100 products, including intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, seafood snacks, and water sportswear, are displayed at the bazaar.

"In addition to the bazaar, the products are also available online. Visitors can make order on the platform and the products will be sent directly to their homes," said an official of the Xiangshan County Trade and Business Group.

Song Xiaojun, a beach volleyball coach and vice-chairman of the Hangzhou Catering Association, was impressed by the local seafood.

"Located near the sea, Xiangshan has plenty of fresh seafood. Locals are good at making delicious seafood dishes in simple ways," said Song.
