Exhibition marks 40th anniversary of intl exchanges

Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province will hold an exhibition titled "Joining Hands with the World" at the Ningbo City Exhibition Hall from May 24 to July 25 to mark the 40th anniversary of its exchanges with international cities.

The exhibition is divided into sections for Asia, America and Oceania, Africa, and Europe, and will commemorate important exchanges between Ningbo and its sister cities and showcase the culture and customs of these sister cities through photos, videos, and objects.

Since Ningbo first established sister-city relations with Nagaokakyo, Japan in 1983, the city has forged friendly relations with 109 cities in 54 countries, including Milwaukee, a manufacturing hub in the United States, Auckland, City of Sails in New Zealand, and Daegu, a fashion hub in South Korea.

Ningbo and its international sister cities have expanded exchanges and cooperation in trade, science, technology, education, culture, healthcare, and talent, presenting a dynamic and fashionable image to the world.

The exhibition is organized by the Ningbo Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning and Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office.
