Yuyao summit promotes robot industry development

The China Robotop and Intelligent Economic Talents Summit currently underway in Yuyao, Ningbo, has promoted the integration of technologies, talent, projects and investment in the robot industry.

Yuyao, a county-level city in Ningbo, has hosted the China Robotop and Intelligent Economic Talent Summit, China's largest robot summit, five times since 2016.

Over the past seven years, the event has made Yuyao a magnet for resources related to the robotics and smart manufacturing industries, and a complete industrial chain covering robot parts, machines, and system integration has been formed in the city.

In 2017, the Zhejiang Robotics Group was established in Yuyao. To date, Yuyao has attracted more than 7,000 high-level talents. In 2021, at the seventh China Robotop and Intelligent Economic Talent Summit, the city signed agreements for 30 projects with a total investment of 25.2 billion yuan ($3.57 billion). The city is currently home to 143 robotics and smart manufacturing enterprises.

The eighth China Robotop and Intelligent Economic Talents Summit is being held from May 23 to 25 in Yuyao. The event will feature robotics and intelligent technologies, including conferences, exhibitions, competitions, job fairs, and matchmaking meetings.
