Ningbo releases Asian Games volunteer uniform, theme song

Ningbo, a co-host city of the 19th Asian Games, released the uniform and theme song for its volunteers on June 9.

The launch ceremony was followed by a myriad of games that attracted significant participation from the public.

Authorities stated that the top 50 volunteers, selected based on their accumulated points earned through voluntary contributions on Ningbo's We online volunteering platform, will receive free tickets for the Asian Games' beach volleyball competitions.

Official data revealed that Ningbo has more than 2.2 million registered volunteers and over 14,000 volunteer service organizations.

In addition to receiving tickets for the Games, there are other incentives to participate in volunteer services: for example, volunteers can redeem the points they earn on We for daily necessities like rice, oil, and beef paste at physical stores.

The coastal county of Xiangshan, administered by Ningbo, will host the Games' sailing, sailboard, and beach volleyball events, aiming to provide exceptional facilities and experiences for athletes and spectators alike.
