Ningbo-based ergonomic solution products manufacturer Loctek announced on July 2 that it has successfully assisted more than 500 small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises in promoting their brands overseas.

This achievement comes after the establishment of a series of overseas warehouses. Loctek has set up 12 warehouses globally, covering an area of over 270,000 square meters. Additionally, it has acquired over 800 acres of land in the United States, with plans to construct additional warehouses in phases, aiming to further support the large-scale operation of overseas warehouses and facilitate the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.

Loctek's proactive approach in accelerating the establishment of overseas warehouses is a prime example of Ningbo's determination to overcome challenges in foreign trade.

Recent statistics reveal that Ningbo enterprises have constructed and operated 212 overseas warehouses, spanning a total area of 3.34 million square meters. In the previous year alone, the city added 450,000 sq m of new warehousing space, contributing to 12.3 percent growth in the total amount of cross-border e-commerce imports and exports, which amounted to 200.56 billion yuan ($27.65 billion).

Furthermore, Ningbo is currently home to 187 "Zhejiang Export Famous Brands", more than anywhere else in the province. The city has also given rise to 37 well-known brands in cross-border e-commerce exports, accounting for 20.4 percent of the province's total.
