The Ningbo Fangte Tourism Resort has recently been included in a national pilot program aimed at promoting immersive tourism spaces, according to local tourism authorities.

This innovative approach to tourism allows visitors to engage and interact with their surroundings by utilizing state-of-the-art digital technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, all while incorporating elements of cultural creativity.

Fangte was selected for the program primarily due to its impressive lineup of projects that offer visitors unique and immersive experiences.

One of these projects is "Nuwa Mends the Sky", which draws inspiration from the mythological story of Nuwa. By integrating cutting-edge technologies, the project allows visitors to embark on a phenomenal journey where they join Nuwa in battling giants and restoring the sky.

Another notable project at the resort is "Flight". This large suspended dome cinema provides visitors with a realistic and immersive flying experience within a fully virtual environment.

Additionally, the resort's "Chih Yuen" indoor drifting project transports visitors on an unforgettable immersive journey through the legendary story of the Chinese cruiser Chih Yuen, using cutting-edge technologies.

Looking ahead, an official from the Ningbo municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism revealed that the city is committed to facilitating the innovative development of smart tourism scenes. The aim is to cultivate new hotspots for tourism consumption, further fulfilling the leisure and travel demands of both residents and tourists.
