Xiangshan hosts graduation party for high school graduates

Xiangshan county in Ningbo, Zhejiang province held a graduation party for local high school graduates on Aug 7 as part of the county's talent recruitment efforts.

The party was held at a water park and more than 1,200 students and teachers were invited. During the party, they partook in various activities and watched a music show.

Each student also received a gift bag with a congratulatory letter, several cards, and an introduction to Xiangshan’s talent policy. The cards included a set of "friend cards" and a "sailing card".

The "friend cards" allow them to invite their college friends to take free trips at five scenic areas in Xiangshan in the next four years. And with the "sailing card", they can enjoy a trip to the Xiangshan Asian Games Sailing Center for free this summer.

"We want to create good memories among graduates for their hometown through such activities, like planting a seed in their hearts. We hope it will convince them to come back to Xiangshan after graduating from college," said an official of the county's organization department.
