Ningbo Fashion Festival to be held in Oct

The Ningbo Fashion Festival, held annually in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, will be held from Oct 19 to 21. It serves as a platform for fashion companies to trade and communicate.

During the festival, various activities, such as forums, exhibitions, matchmaking meetings, fashion shows, and shopping activities, will be held.

The fashion exhibition will be divided into six halls: four themed halls, a fashion show hall, and a shopping hall.

The first hall will focus on famous fashion brands. The second hall will highlight the participation of colleges in the fashion industry. Teachers and students from colleges, such as Tokyo University of the Arts, Brand University of Applied Sciences, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Tsinghua University, will be present. The third hall will gather companies from the whole industrial chain, from designing and manufacturing to marketing. The fourth hall will display the innovations and reforms of the fashion industry.

The event, formerly known as the Ningbo International Fashion Fair, was launched in 1997 and renamed the Ningbo Fashion Festival in 2019. It was the first large fashion event to be held in the city. The Ningbo Fashion Festival has witnessed the development and prosperity of the local garment industry and become one of China's largest fashion exhibitions.
