11 Ningbo companies attending CIFTIS

Eleven companies in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province are currently participating in the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) held in Beijing.

The theme of this year's CIFTIS is "Opening-up leads development, cooperation delivers the future", and it will continue until Sept 6. With over 200 events, including forums, negotiations, and summits, the fair highlights cutting-edge technologies, which have captured the attention of many visitors.

The participating Ningbo companies are engaged in a range of sectors, including shipping logistics, culture, biomedicine, and electric appliances. In 2022, the total import and export value of services in Ningbo reached 171.75 billion yuan ($23.63 billion), a year-on-year increase of 22.52 percent. This accounted for more than a quarter of Zhejiang's total.

Ningbo, home to Ningbo Zhoushan Port - the world's largest port in terms of cargo throughput volume, is actively promoting the growth of both cargo trade and service trade.
