Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province recently kicked off a recruitment campaign, which is slated to run until March 31.

The 53-day campaign comprising 14 job fairs to be held online and offline is expected to attract about 10,000 enterprises and institutions, as well as 100,000 jobseekers.

An important part of the event will be the job fair targeting college graduates, which is scheduled to be held in Ningbo on Feb 11. More than 100 renowned companies and public institutions have confirmed their participation.

In addition, the city will coordinate with cities that have many higher education institutes, including Nanjing and Wuhan, as well as its neighboring city of Zhoushan in the recruitment drive, and focus on recruiting talents in fields such as machine manufacturing, foreign trade, teaching and training and commercial livestreaming.

Non-locals seeking employment in local companies (excluding State-owned and State-controlled ones) or returning to work after the holiday can apply for a government subsidy of up to 500 yuan ($76.9) to cover their transportation costs, according to related regulations.
