Expats experiences Ningbo's culture, development

Expats from five countries have been given the chance to experience the culture and development of Ningbo in Zhejiang province during a trip organized by the information office of the Ningbo government and China Daily.

The trip, named "Focus on Ningbo", started on Wednesday and will end on Saturday.

Expats from countries including the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and the United States learn about the volunteer programs offered by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. The Sino-foreign university, the first of its kind in China, is home to over 8,000 students and staff members from 70 countries. [Photo/chinadaily.com.cn]

Abriel Samm, a Chinese culture enthusiast from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, demonstrates Chinese calligraphy for a group of foreigners studying and working in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province.
