Ningbo's first sand sculpture park opens in May

Ningbo's first sand sculpture park is slated to open to visitors on May 1, the first day of the upcoming May Day holiday, according to local media reports.

Located in the Donghai Banbianshan tourist resort, the park covers a total area of 7,000 square meters. The sculptures to be exhibited feature several mythological creatures from the ancient text The Classic of Mountains and Seas.

The admission fee to the park is priced at 30 yuan ($4.62) per person.
