Environmental protection boosts rural tourism in Ningbo

Visitors were enjoying themselves at Yulin dam in Beilun district, Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 24.

Local authorities are striving to improve the water quality in the area – more than 90 percent of the 535 watercourses in the district are now Ⅳ water quality or above – as well as developing the natural resources along the riverside to promote rural tourism.
