Magpies find perfect perch in Ningbo

High above Ningbo, tucked inside the Hankyu Department Store logo, a pair of magpies are hard at work building their nest — what a deluxe spot to call home! Magpies are a sign of good luck, and these two seem to have found the perfect perch. They're in good company, too — egrets, black swans, and migratory birds are flourishing in Ningbo's nature-friendly cityscape. Welcome A Xi and her husband, our latest high-rise lovebirds!
