About China-CEEC Expo
The China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair (referred to as the China-CEEC Expo below) is the only national-level institutional expo in China centered around China-CEEC cooperation.
The China-CEEC Expo traces its roots back to the Bucharest Guidelines issued at the 2nd Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries in November 2013, which proposed organizing an exhibition of CEE specialty products in China. Upon that proposal, the inaugural Central and Eastern European Countries' Products Fair was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang, from June 8 to 11, 2014, followed by the first China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo from June 8 to 11, 2015, also in Ningbo. From 2015 to 2018, Ningbo successfully hosted four consecutive editions of the China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo. On March 11, 2019, with the approval of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the event was officially upgraded to a national-level institutional expo and renamed the China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair.
From 2019 to 2023, the China-CEEC Expo was successfully held three times in Ningbo, bringing together more than 3,000 CEEC enterprises and showcasing over 10,000 CEEC products. The Expo has played an important role in enhancing the visibility of CEEC products in China, expanding CEEC exports to China, and fostering synergy for broader China-CEEC cooperation.
The 4th China-CEEC Expo will be held in Ningbo, Zhejiang, from May 22 to 25, 2025, under the theme "New Visions for the Future". The event will feature a diverse arrangement of "12+5+N" major events, including an opening ceremony, business matchmaking sessions, investment promotion activities, cultural exchange, and concurrent events, alongside an 80,000-square-meter trade exhibition.
