Jiangbei district in Ningbo, has launched the Gojiang Club, a new international cultural platform designed to connect global youth with the city's rich heritage.

The official inauguration on Nov 6 featured the unveiling of the club's distinctive logo, the formation of an international youth network, and the kickoff of dual cultural initiatives, along with immersive experiences for participants. The logo, combining a traditional sail motif with dynamic "Gojiang" lettering encircled like a welcoming gate, symbolizes Jiangbe's blend of historical depth and contemporary openness.

The international youth network offers international residents and students a hub for cultural exchange. Hasan Algafri, a student representative, explained that the platform seeks to help international youth integrate into Ningbo through cross-cultural dialogue.

Photography and writing initiatives were also introduced to showcase Jiangbei from international perspectives. The "Jiangbei Through International Lenses" project invites participants to capture the district's historic heritage alongside its modern energy, guided by local curators such as Yu Yini, who shared advice on highlighting the interplay between past and present.

Meanwhile, the Gojiang Club writing program provides a platform for contributors to share personal experiences, reflections on city life, and cultural insights, fostering a literary connection between Ningbo and the broader world.

Following the formal launch, attendees participated in interactive cultural activities, including tea art, calligraphy, and rope weaving, and visited iconic sites such as the Old Bund.
