China's economy drew strong support from new growth drivers in August, with double-digit growth in high-tech manufacturing and solid external demand underpinning fast industrial growth. Production and supply grew steadily, employment and prices were generally stable, foreign trade saw rapid growth, and new growth drivers played a stronger role.
