NEV share of new car sales hits new high in Sept

New energy vehicles accounted for a record 61.6 percent of China's monthly new car sales in September, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed. In the first three quarters of 2026, NEV output and sales both rose by more than 10 percent year-on-year, while the cumulative share rose to 53.6 percent over the period.
