The third China International Tea Expo opened in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang Province, on May 15. Teas from Ningbo were welcomed by purchasing agents and consumers from all across the country. 

A total of 12 tea companies from Ningbo participated in the expo, displaying their own special teas at 21 booths covering 190 square meters. 

On-the-spot transactions for 100 kilograms of tea, valued at 100,000 yuan ($14,500), and deals involving the trade of 1,500 kilograms, worth 1.6 million yuan, were reached.
