As a center of logistics, trade and finance in the region, Thailand is a bridge between the ASEAN market and China, and an important hub linking Asia with Europe and America, noted Zheng Jianjiang, chairman of AUX Group, pointing out that the BRI has brought new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand.

Zhang Peidong, counsellor of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy to Thailand, said that the BRI is becoming increasingly popular among a wide range of countries, including Thailand.

Economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand has entered its best period in history, with more and more Chinese enterprises choosing to do business in Thailand, he said.

In March, AUX established an R&D center in Japan. To date, the company has a total of 10 manufacturing bases and five research centers across the world.

The export volume of air conditioners produced by AUX stood at five million units in 2018.
