Ningbo enterprises to shine at cross-Straits cultural fair

Ningbo will attend the Cross-Straits Cultural Industries Fair slated to be held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province from Nov 1 to 4 and serve as the event's guest of honor.

Now in its 12th year, the fair has gradually developed into a bridge connecting cultural and creative enterprises across the Taiwan Strait, and has also attracted media attention at home and abroad.

The event is organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Radio and Television Administration and the Fujian's Provincial People's Government.

The fair spans 75,000 square meters and features around 3,500 booths.

As the guest of honor, more than 30 companies and organizations from Ningbo are set to attend the event to promote the city and its local intangible cultural heritages, including embroidery, painting and wood carving,

In addition, a dozen small and micro enterprises from Ningbo will demonstrate the strength of the city's cultural innovation to young people.

The city's latest accomplishments in promoting integration between agriculture and cultural creation will be showcased at the fair as well.
