Civic culture, art festival to open in Ningbo

The 7th Ningbo Civic Culture and Art Festival is scheduled to be held from September to November, according to local media reports. 

Since its inception in 2014, the festival has grown to become a cultural trademark of Ningbo. More than 1,200 activities had been held during the event over the past six years, which were attended by over 10 million people.

This year for the first time, the three-month event will feature a combination of 263 online and offline activities, ranging from singing, dancing, and operas to forums, exhibitions and sports games.

Online interactive activities on platforms such as WeChat and Douyin will be highlighted during the event.

A series of high-profile international cultural and art events will also be held for local residents. They include the 2020 Asia International Art Festival, Ningbo International Piano Art Festival, Picasso International Art Exhibition and Silk Road Digital Exhibition.
