Ningbo makes progress in urban development

The city has also seen strong progress in the "Beautiful Town" campaign launched by the provincial government 

A total of 106 towns and sub-districts in the city are included in the campaign. This year, 15 have met the qualifications to become "Beautiful Towns".

In 2017, Ningbo was included in the nation's pilot program to renovate dilapidated residential communities, and as of the end of last year, 76 old residential communities covering a total area of over 3 million square meters in the city were given a facelift.

The city vows to finish renovation work on 555 old residential communities across the city by the end of 2022.
